The guides are made of steel, chrome-plated and anti-corrosion treated for greater durability. RUBI's STAR MAX manual cutters feature closed guides made of POM for greater resistance to bending. They offer the professional ceramic tile installer a better, smoother glide when scoring. Equipped with a robust, high-power separating aluminum mobile assembly for diagonal cuts, and a base with a cushioning effect. The double guide system provides better visibility of the marking and cutting line. The guide supports of the RUBI STAR MAX manual cutters are made of POM and feature a highly reinforced design to provide greater robustness in times of greater demand. All STAR MAX models include fold-out side supports to increase the support area on larger pieces. RUBI STAR MAX manual cutters include, as standard, a 6 mm STD cutting wheel with tungsten carbide wheel. The exclusive mechanization and sharpness of the RUBI 6 mm STD cutting wheel allow this wheel to offer exceptional quality in marking ceramic tiles for wall tiles (type BIII). The incision of the 6 mm STD cutting wheel is clean and shallow, resulting in a cut without chipping the glaze or deviations. The STAR MAX range of manual cutters is composed of two models, 51 and 65, for cutting up to 65 cm. Available in a version with a comfortable carrying bag for easy transport and protection of the manual cutter.
