Schluter - RONDEC round profile - matte white aluminum 1/2" (12.5 mm) x 10'

Schluter-RONDEC is a finishing and protection profile for the outside corners of tiled surfaces. The profile features a trapezoid-shaped perforated anchoring leg that is embedded in the mortar beneath the tiles. The visible surface of the profile features a rounded edge with a 1/4" (6 mm) radius along the tiled surface. The profile is available in stainless steel, solid and chrome-plated brass, anodized, colored, and textured colored aluminum, as well as PVC. RONDEC's wide variety of materials, colors, and finishes allows it to be combined with several tile and grout styles and create interesting decorative accents. In addition to its decorative appearance, RONDEC protects the tile edge from mechanical stress. The RONDEC stainless steel profile is particularly resistant to wear when used as a protective profile. It can also be used as a stair nosing or as a transition profile. In addition, RONDEC can be used to create transitions, corners, or chair rails with other materials such as carpet, parquet, natural stone, or epoxy resin coatings. The profile has an integrated grout spacer that contributes to to create a uniform space between the tile and the profile. Note: The stainless steel and brass RONDEC profiles do not have an integrated grout spacer. Matching corner pieces, including sink corners and connectors, are available. Matching end caps are also available for the stainless steel RONDEC profile. Maintenance: The Schluter-RONDEC profile requires no special care or maintenance and is resistant to mold and mildew. Clean the profiles periodically with a neutral cleaning agent. Steel surfaces exposed to the environment or strong chemicals should be cleaned periodically with a neutral cleaner. Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance of stainless steel and reduce the risk of corrosion. Avoid strong acids (e.g., hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid) and alkaline cleaners (e.g., bleach, ammonia, chlorine). Do not use abrasive cleaners or tools. Oxidation films that form on exposed brass or aluminum can be removed with a regular polish, but they will reappear. For chrome-plated brass, anodized aluminum, colored aluminum, and textured colored aluminum, avoid using abrasive cleaners.
