Product Information

The Warm Surfaces heating cable is a single-connection twin-conductor cable (one cold lead to connect) for electric floor heating under ceramic, porcelain, stone, slate, granite, marble or engineered wood. It is embedded in thinset or in at least 1/4 in of self-leveling compound. This 680 ft length covers from 170 sq ft (3 in spacing) to 220 sq ft (4 in spacing).

You will also need

  • A 20 A double-pole breaker per cable, 12/2 supply cable with ground
  • Connection by a certified electrician. Resistance must be within 2% of the value on the cold lead label.
  • The cable cannot be cut or shortened
  • Do not energize the cable until the mortar has fully cured (3 to 4 weeks)
