The wedi® Corner Shower Seat — listed as Shower Seat M in the manufacturer's catalogue — is a prefabricated module that fastens directly to existing framing, with no leg or floor support. It is built from wedi® panels — closed-cell extruded polystyrene core, cement-resin coating and mesh on both faces — so it is waterproof throughout and ready to tile.
Its seating surface is slightly sloped so water runs off rather than pooling. Seat and waterproofing go in as a single operation: no masonry, no reworking the waterproofing in the corners, and a clean corner surface as soon as it is fastened.

INSTALLATION
Fasten the seat to the framing using the supplied support system, then seal the perimeter and fastener points with wedi® Joint Sealant. Tiling can begin as soon as the sealant is dry to the touch.
For a bench built to measure rather than a prefabricated module, 2 in. wedi® Building Panels cut and assemble to whatever dimensions are needed.
