The wedi Fundo Primo shower system, like all wedi shower systems, offers comprehensive warranty coverage thanks to its complete, naturally waterproof core and range of specially designed components. The Fundo Primo is waterproof internally thanks to the closed-cell structure of its wedi XPS foam, and like all wedi XPS foam products, it naturally protects against mold and mildew. It's quick and clean to cut to fit custom designs, while the prefabrication significantly reduces installation time. The base features a solid, pre-folded surface, allowing for immediate tiling, whether you choose mosaics or large-format tiles. The wedi Fundo Primo is primarily designed to fit shower designs that include a wedi border. Pre-folded extension panels are available, allowing for unlimited custom shower designs of any size or shape. Fundo Primo is insulating, creating a thermal barrier that can prevent the transfer of cold through the tile surface, and makes underfloor heating systems more efficient. It also offers exceptional moisture control and water exposure compared to traditional mortar bed installations or other currently known methods for shower construction, including the use of foil or liquid waterproofing membranes, which can be very thin and vulnerable or can offer water absorption in areas of thin-set glued joints.
