Wedi Building Panels can be applied vertically to shower walls and wet areas. This panel aligns specifically with floating walls and allows for more flexibility in your wedi panel installation. The panels are quickly and easily secured in place using wedi screws and washers. Wedi Building Panel combines a tile backing panel and waterproofing in a single step, providing a secure system installation. Once the panels are secured and the joints/fasteners sealed with wedi Joint Sealant, tiling can begin immediately, as soon as the sealant is dry to the touch. This saves considerable time and money compared to traditional methods. Its solid waterproof core eliminates issues such as pinholes/tracks and delamination commonly associated with alternative sealants. The wedi building board has been successfully tested according to ANSI 118.10 (Test Standard for Bonded and Load-Bearing Waterproof Membranes) as well as ASTM C578 (Standard for Cement-Coated Foam Backerboards).
