The wedi® 16 × 42 in. Shower Niche is the column format in the range. Built from 1/2 in. wedi® Building Panels, it is waterproof throughout and ready to tile straight after installation — no additional waterproofing is required.
It ships with two removable shelves the installer positions at whatever height suits. That is what makes it worth considering in renovation work: a single wall opening replaces two or three separate niches, and the interior layout is decided on site rather than at order time.

INSTALLATION
Set the niche into the framing between studs, fasten with wedi® screws and washers, then seal the perimeter and fastener points with wedi® Joint Sealant. Position the shelves before tiling. Tiling can begin as soon as the sealant is dry to the touch.
