Mapei - ULTRABOND ECO 995 - Urethane Adhesive for Hardwood Flooring - 15.1 L (4 gal)

Ultrabond ECO^® 995 is Mapei's premium urethane wood-flooring adhesive: 100 % solids, one-component, moisture-curing, for every type of wood flooring and bamboo.

What separates it from an ordinary adhesive comes down to one application: it bonds and controls moisture in a single pass. Applied with the supplied clip-on trowel, it forms a monolithic layer that handles up to 25 lbs MVER and 100 % relative humidity — where a standard adhesive tops out at 5 lbs and needs a separate membrane.

It also delivers sound reduction, with no additional product.

⚠️ Three conditions the warranty depends on

• A fresh clip-on trowel for every pail. The notches wear and adhesive transfer drops.
• Coverage must be met. Mapei is explicit: insufficient transfer voids the coverage.
• Moisture-barrier properties do not apply over wood underlayments. They hold over cement-based substrates.

Trowel ridge lines must run perpendicular to the flooring installation direction. Once cured, ECO 995 is extremely difficult to remove — clean up squeeze-out before it sets.
