Description

For drilling all types of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain tiles, and other covering materials such as marble and granite, RUBI has the EASYGRES diamond drill bit range. The EASYGRES range consists of electroplated diamond wet cutting bits, which can be used with a non-percussion electric drill. The quality of the diamond used in the design and manufacture of EASYGRES bits allows the perforation of sandstone, porcelain stoneware, granite, marble and glass. EASYGRES drill bits, 6 to 12 mm in diameter, are perfect for installing bath accessories or any type of decorative accessory on ceramic surfaces. They must always be cooled with water and used with the EASYGRES guide which allows it to be centered and cooled adequately, ensuring great precision and the best finishes. The other diameters of the EASYGRES diamond drill bit range, from 20 to 120 mm, have been designed primarily so that the ceramic tile installation professional can obtain the best results when it comes to drilling for water intakes, drains, light points, etc. The average lifespan of EASYGRES bits varies depending on the diameter. The average lifespan of EASYGRES from 6 to 12 mm is 10 holes and that of EASYGRES from 20 to 120 mm is 25 holes. The average lifespan of drill bits ALWAYS depends on the type of material, its thickness, as well as its correct cooling and use. The drilling depth of EASYGRES bits is 25 mm. EASYGRES bits have a side opening which improves the cooling of the bit and facilitates the elimination of solid residues after each perforation. Before performing a new perforation, we must ensure that the bit is clean and free of any obstructions. The recommended speed of use for EASYGRES bits is between 400 and 1000 rpm, depending on the material to be drilled. In order to obtain a better finish and longer bit life, it is important to respect the correct lathe speed and to exert moderate pressure during drilling.
