Description

For drilling all types of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain stoneware, and other wall-mounted materials such as marble and granite, RUBI offers the EASYGRES range of diamond core bits. The EASYGRES range consists of electroplated, wet-cutting diamond core bits that can be used with a non-percussion electric drill. The quality of the diamond used in the design and manufacture of EASYGRES core bits allows for drilling stoneware, porcelain stoneware, granite, marble, and glass. EASYGRES core bits, ranging from 6 to 12 mm in diameter, are ideal for installing bathroom fixtures or any type of decorative accessory on ceramic surfaces. They should always be cooled with water and used with the EASYGRES guide, which allows for proper centering and cooling, ensuring high precision and the best finishes. The other diameters in the EASYGRES diamond core bit range, from 20 to 120 mm, were designed primarily to ensure that professional ceramic tile installers achieve the best results when drilling holes for water inlets, drains, light points, etc. The average lifespan of EASYGRES core bits varies depending on the diameter. The average lifespan of EASYGRES core bits from 6 to 12 mm is 10 holes, and that of EASYGRES core bits from 20 to 120 mm is 25 holes. The average lifespan of core bits ALWAYS depends on the type of material, its thickness, as well as its proper cooling and use. The drilling depth of EASYGRES core bits is 25 mm. EASYGRES drill bits feature a side opening that improves bit cooling and facilitates the removal of solid residue after each perforation. Before making a new perforation, ensure that the drill bit is clean and free of any obstructions. The recommended operating speed for EASYGRES drill bits is between 400 and 1000 rpm, depending on the material to be drilled. To achieve a better finish and longer drill bit life, it is important to maintain the correct rpm and apply moderate pressure during perforation.
