Description

FORAGRES diamond drill bits are ideal for drilling stoneware tiles, porcelain stoneware tiles, as well as granite and marble pieces. Available in several diameters, from 20 to 120 mm, they are perfect for making holes in ceramic tiles during installation. FORAGRES drill bits allow ceramic tile installers to achieve better finishing results. The FORAGRES diamond drill bit range includes all the diameters necessary to perform the most common perforations for water inlets, drains, light points, etc. The diamond band of FORAGRES drill bits is sintered and is joined to the body of the drill bit by laser welding. FORAGRES diamond drill bits must ALWAYS be used with water cooling and with a non-percussion electric drill. The use of the MULTIDRILL centering guide (ref. 50944) is recommended for centering holes up to 83 mm in diameter. For perforations with diameters greater than 84 mm, it is recommended to use the FORAGRES guide (ref. 50900). The average life of FORARES diamond drill bits is 60 holes and ALWAYS depends on the type of material, its thickness, as well as its correct cooling and use. The perforation depth of FORAGRES diamond drill bits is 30 mm (33 mm for diameters of 55 and 75 mm). Before making a new perforation, we must ensure that the drill bit is clean and free of any obstructions or material residue. The maximum operating speed of FORAGRES diamond drill bits is 900 rpm, except for diameters of 100 and 120 mm, for which the maximum operating speed is 450 rpm. To achieve a better finish and a longer drill bit life, it is important to maintain the correct rotation speed and apply moderate pressure during drilling.
