Description

The DRYGRES range of diamond drill bits is recommended for drilling all types of ceramic tiles, especially porcelain stoneware, and other wall materials such as marble and granite. In its DRYGRES range of drill bits, RUBI has used VACUUM BRAZED technology, which increases resistance to temperature and friction, to attach the diamond particles to the cutting area. The DRYGRES drill bits, with diameters ranging from 6 to 12 mm, are ideal for installing bathroom fixtures or any other type of decorative accessories on ceramic surfaces. The other diameters in the EASYGRES range of diamond drill bits, from 20 to 75 mm, have been designed primarily to enable professional ceramic tile installers to achieve the best results when drilling holes for water inlets, drains, light points, etc. DRYGRES diamond core bits are designed for dry cutting and, thanks to their M14 screw connection, can be used directly with a grinder or a non-percussion electric drill, using the drill adapter (ref. 05976). The average life of DRYGRES core bits varies depending on the diameter. For DRYGRES core bits with diameters from 6 to 12 mm, the average life is 25 holes, and for those with diameters from 20 to 75 mm, their average life is 60 holes. The average life of core bits ALWAYS depends on the type of material, its thickness, as well as its proper cooling and use. The drilling depth of DRYGRES core bits is 36 mm. For diameters of 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm, DRYGRES core bits contain wax. This wax melts during use and facilitates cooling and the removal of solid residue from the drilling (if the wax runs out, the bit can continue to work. Only complete loss of diamond indicates the end of the bit's life.). DRYGRES core bits (diameters 20 to 75 mm) have a side opening that improves cooling of the bit and facilitates the removal of solid residue after each drilling. Before drilling again, ensure that the bit is clean and free of any obstructions. The maximum operating speed for DRYGRES diamond core bits is 14,000 rpm. To achieve a better finish and longer bit life, it is important to maintain the correct rpm speed and use a slight orbital motion while drilling.
