Rubi - Line Marker

Line markers, also known as "line pullers," allow us to draw perfectly straight lines several meters long, on any type of surface, without worrying about its texture or finish, in a matter of seconds. The RUBI line marker consists of a container made of impact-resistant aluminum. The RUBI line marker's spool has 15 meters of cord and a quick-release system and a lock to prevent accidental retraction when tightening the cord to mark. At the end of the RUBI line marker's cord, we find a highly resistant metal piece that allows us to hook the cord to an edge or nail it. This way, markings can be made by a single person. This same metal piece serves as a stop and prevents the cord from completely entering the spool. The RUBI line marker comes with a 50g bottle of marking powder or "blue powder" to refill the marker's reservoir. To obtain a good mark with an accurate reading, it is very important to fill the marker reservoir, close it properly, and shake it. This ensures that the string wound on the spool is coated with the marking powder. Once the string has been stretched and aligned with the reference points, it should be tightened and pinched, as if it were a guitar string, against the surface to leave the marking powder on the surface. The RUBI line marker can be used for an additional purpose, as a plumb line.
