Rubi - SLAB TRANS HEAVY DUTY - Carrier Frame for Large-Format Slabs - 140 kg

The SLAB TRANS HEAVY DUTY carrier handles ceramic slabs and large-format tile up to 320 cm long. It is built from two reinforced extruded aluminium profiles, retractable and adjustable from 165 to 320 cm, plus two perpendicular crossbars that keep the assembly rigid under the heaviest loads.

Its six suction cups position freely along the profiles: the installer chooses the fixing points to suit the format of the piece. The four handles, two per rail, slide along the full length to adapt to each configuration and allow several people to lift together.

It was designed for slabs 6 mm thick and above — these formats present a double challenge, in surface area and in weight, on another scale entirely from 3 or 5 mm sheets.

⚠️ Safety — the 140 kg figure is a total

The 140 kg capacity is a total load that must never be exceeded, and it includes the weight of the carrier itself.

At these load levels, the limit to respect is not only the equipment's but the maximum load per person. Depending on the piece, plan for three or four installers to handle it safely.

Setting the suction cups

Before every pick, check that the tile surface is clean and free of dust or debris. A soiled surface compromises the vacuum, wherever the cups are placed.
