Schluter - QUADEC 90° Inside/Outside Corner - Brushed Nickel Anodized Aluminum 1/2" (12.5 mm)

Schluter-QUADEC is a finishing and protection profile for the outside corners of tiled surfaces. It features a trapezoid-shaped perforated anchoring leg that sinks into the mortar beneath the tiles. The visible surface of the profile features a square edge at the edge of the tiled surface. The profile is available in stainless steel, textured stainless steel, anodized aluminum, and colored textured aluminum. QUADEC provides a modern look and offers interesting contrasts. The profile coordinates with the QUADEC-FS strip profile and the DESIGNLINE edge profile to expand your design options. In addition to providing a decorative appearance, QUADEC protects the tile edges from mechanical stress. The QUADEC stainless steel profile is highly resistant to wear when used as an edge protection profile. It can also be used as a stair nosing or as a transition profile between two floor coverings. QUADEC can also be used to create transitions, corners, or chair rails with other materials such as carpet, parquet, natural stone, or epoxy resin coatings. The profile has an integrated grout spacer that will allow for a uniform gap between the tile and the profile. Note: The stainless steel QUADEC profile does not have an integrated grout spacer. Matching inside/outside corners and connectors are available. Maintenance: The Schluter-QUADEC profile requires no special care or maintenance and is resistant to mold and mildew. Periodically clean the profiles with a neutral cleaning agent. Steel surfaces exposed to environmental conditions or strong chemicals should be cleaned periodically with a neutral cleaning agent. Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance of stainless steel and reduce the risk of corrosion. Avoid strong acids (e.g., hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid) and alkaline cleaners (e.g., bleach, ammonia, chlorine). Do not use abrasive cleaners or tools. Stainless steel surfaces become shinier when cleaned with a chrome polish. Oxidation films that form on aluminum can be removed with a regular polish, but they will reappear. For anodized and colored aluminum, avoid using abrasive cleaners.
