SikaBond®-52 is a one-component, fast-curing, solvent-free elastic polyurethane adhesive for bonding wood flooring by the bead method. It is gun-applied, which sets it apart from the trowel-applied SikaBond adhesives.
Its 600 % elongation — the highest in the range — absorbs wood movement and reduces stress transferred to the substrate. It is also a footfall-sound-dampening adhesive, which makes it the bonding component of the Sika® AcouBond® System when paired with the SikaLayer®-03 mat.

ACOUBOND SYSTEM
One box of 20 sausages covers exactly one roll of SikaLayer®-03 (269 sq. ft.). All mat cut-outs must be filled. Use the triangular 8 × 10 mm nozzle supplied in the carton — it is reusable.
RESTRICTIONS
Professional use. Do not use on wet, contaminated or friable substrates. Do not expose to isocyanate-reactive substances. Do not use on PE, PP, Teflon or certain plasticised synthetics. Some primers can impair adhesion — carry out pre-trials.
Substrate and ambient temperature above 15 °C; below 20 °C over radiant heating. Freeze-sensitive. Store between 10 °C and 25 °C, away from direct sunlight.
