SikaLevel®-03 Primer Plus is a one-part, water-dispersed, solvent-free acrylic primer applied to floor surfaces before installing SikaLevel® self-levelling underlayments. It penetrates the substrate to reduce bubbling in the underlayment and stops the substrate from drawing mix water out of it — the two most common causes of a failed self-levelling pour.
It goes on green and turns translucent as it dries: that colour shift doubles as a visual check on coverage and confirms the right moment to pour the underlayment. Thirty-minute dry time on concrete, low odour, and a VOC content below 5 g/L.

RESTRICTIONS — READ BEFORE ORDERING
Do not apply over particleboard, chipboard, OSB, hardboard, lauan, wood flooring (solid or engineered), crack-isolation or sound-insulation membranes, or gypsum-based patching compounds.
This product is not a moisture barrier. It is not designed to stop moisture rising through a slab.
Freeze-sensitive. Store between 5 °C and 25 °C, away from frost and high heat. Product that has frozen must be discarded — it cannot be salvaged.
APPLICATION
Shake the container thoroughly before use. On certified plywood: apply undiluted with a 10 mm roller, one coat. On absorbent or mechanically prepared concrete, gypsum or hybrid underlayment: dilute one part primer to three parts potable water and mix for one minute at low speed (300 rpm). Avoid puddling and spread any excess with a brush. Sika does not recommend spray application. Clean tools with water immediately — cured product can only be removed mechanically.
SikaLevel® products must be applied within 24 hours of priming, and only once the primer is clear and dry to the touch.
