wedi® Joint Sealant is an MS Polymer elastomeric sealant. It is essential to every wedi® installation: it is what makes the assembly watertight, sealing the joints between panels, the connections and the fastener points. Without it, the panels remain individually waterproof but the assembly is not.
It is also a construction adhesive in its own right — it bonds as well as seals. Its high viscosity gives it excellent non-sag performance, and its flexibility dissipates stress from shock, vibration and thermal movement.

⚠️ NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH SEALANT 620
wedi® Joint Sealant and wedi® Sealant 620 are two separate products. For steam showers and steam rooms, Sealant 620 is the one required, in combination with the Vapor 85 panel and Subliner Dry membrane. The 620 is not a standalone construction adhesive. The Joint Sealant shown here covers standard wedi® shower installations.
