Wedi - FUNDO RIOLITO NEO - Shower Base with Linear Drain, 4-Way Slope - 36" × 60" × 2-3/8"

The wedi^® Fundo Riolito Neo shower base is set apart by its linear drain placed close to the wall, integrated and factory-sealed, where the other Fundo bases use a point drain. Water drains away through a narrow gap between the cover plate and the tile surface.

Its 4-way slope design is the decisive technical point: it keeps a constant thickness around the entire perimeter despite the off-centre drain. That is what makes the base safe to recess into a floor structure for a curbless shower, with no low point at the perimeter.

The close-to-wall linear drain also allows large-format tile to be laid with almost no cuts, since the slope runs continuously in one visible direction rather than converging on a central point.

⚠️ COVER PLATE SOLD SEPARATELY

The base ships with its drain unit, but the channel cover plate is not included. It must be ordered separately, according to the finish required. Budget for it: without it, the installation cannot be completed.

INSTALLATION

Bond the base to a flat, stable substrate with thin-set mortar, or recess it into the floor structure, connect the drain, then seal the junctions with the walls using wedi^® Joint Sealant.

Mortar and grout selection: for tile 2 × 2 in. and larger, polymer-modified cement-based thin-set and grout. Below that, the grout must be a 100 % solids epoxy.
